De Niro's Hotel Hits Herzliya

Herzliya's Marina will host one of world's first Japanese-themed Nobu hotels, set up by Robert de Niro.

Adi Strauss, Irit Koppler and Daniel Rubenstein, the grandson of cosmetics mogul Helena Rubenstein, are among the partners in one of Robert De Niro's new Japanese-themed Nobu hotels. The one in Israel is to be built above the Arena Mall in Herzliya. The Marina company, owned by the three investors, acquired the rights to the hotel in February, becoming the owners of Nobo Hotel Residence in Israel.

The Nobu brand is planned for launch in London this month. The Herzliya location, and another in New York City, will be the first to open.
