CBS has acquired the rights to the format of the Israeli television show "Shalosh" (Three) - a reality show documenting three women’s search for love.
The show will be adapted for an American audience and produced by Magical Elves, the company responsible for the hit reality television shows Project Runway and Top Chef.
Magical Elves will produce the show in collaboration with director-producer Chris Columbus and Israeli Keshet Broadcasting that produced the Israeli version of the show together with Kastina Communication.
The deal was sealed at a meeting headed by Nina Tessler president of CBS Entertainment and Keshet Broadcasting CEO Avi Nir.
The Israeli version was edited by Roy Oz and directed by Doron Tsabar, and scored an average season rating of 28.4%.
The show will be the sixth Keshet show to be picked up by American television. With notable past purchases including Hatufim, which was adapted by Showtime to Homeland. The show recently won the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series.
Other shows Keshet has exported in the past include the sitcom Ramzor, adapted by Fox to Traffic Light, Ha'Ex Ha'mitologi, adapted by CBS as The Ex List in 2008.
