The engineer who put together a startlingly efficient photograph collection
Shalom Shpilman moved from advising heavy industry to transforming art photography in Israel. Welcome to his museum, built at the same lightning speed as his collection.
Shalom Shpilman's photo collection contains 700 items, as of writing. Most were bought over the last two years, averaging one acquisition a day. In comparison, the Ami and Gaby Brown collection of Israeli art took a lifetime to assemble: it has 3,000 items and is considered one of the best and most comprehensive in the country.
