Haaretz Arts & Leisure presents its sound clip of the day:

Pandora, from the Israeli band Men of North Country's debut album, The North, recently released London's Acid Jazz Records.

Men of North Country will celebrate the album's release with its first Tel Aviv concert on August 23 at Ozen Bar.

The Acid Jazz record label describes Pandora as the most pop of the songs on the album, with a sound reminiscent of "a rendezvous between The Who and the soul legend Al Wilson on a sunny day".

The indie soul band formed in 2008. In addition to soloist Yashiv Cohen, the band includes drummer/producer Boaz Wolf, guitarist Nitzan Horesh, bassist Doron Farhi and a three-piece brass section comprising Ido Kretchmer (trombone), Sefi Sizzling (trumpet) and Ongy Sizzling (saxophone).
