American singer-songwriter Justin Timberlake is set to perform in Tel Aviv's Hayarkon Park on May 28, producers have said, with tickets going on sale on January 19.
The official announcement and ticket sales were scheduled for last week, but were postponed due to the death of former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.
The singer will be coming as part of his 20/20 Experience World Tour.
The latest megastar who performed in Hayarkon Park was Rihanna, who disappointed fans with a belated appearance and recorded vocals.
Also this summer, Lady Gaga is scheduled to perform in Israel for the second time, as part of a tour promoting the release of her new album ARTPOP.
And the date of Justin Bieber's previously announced tour stop has recently been set for May 14. The teenage heart throb will be following up on a successful concert in 2011.
Meanwhile, American media reported on Tuesday that police had searched Bieber's home in connection with an egg-tossing vandalism case that caused thousands of dollars in damage to a neighbor's home. They were reportedly looking for surveillance footage that might serve as evidence of Bieber's involvement
Another potential visitor to Israel this year is Beyonce, though negotiation between the singer and an Israeli concert production company have hit a snag and it is unclear whether she will come in the spring as initially thought.
