TASE shares tumble off fiscal cliff
The TA-25 index was down 1.4% at 1,203.92 point, while TA-100 finished 1.3% lower at 1,059.22 points. Turnover was a thin NIS 632.6 million.
The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange traded lower most of the day on Sunday amid renewed fears that the United States was heading off the side of its much-feared fiscal cliff. Meanwhile, the TA-25 dropped off its own cliff, with the index moving sharply down after 3:30 P.M.
