the Israeli situation is far more complcated then you can show in a list

There are many modern, lberated women in Israel, but even more ultra-orthodox religious women. There are Bedouins, Palestinian women in Israel, but also gay and lesbians.

what the hell is "gender equality"

women earn less because they ask for less! Also, the calculations regarding pay between men and women do not factor in maternity leave, which is why the over all aggregate income for women is sightly less than for men! I am sick of hearing all this none sense of gender equality? Where is the equality for gay men and transgendered people, who are routinely shut out of board rooms and in the case of the transgendered- can't even get a job at a local fast food joint, let alone sit as a manager or executive!

  Just because Gay and Transgendered people have it worse is no excuse to ignore discrimination based on gender. It's not only in pay, but in many many things.
