The Gushdan is now under fire. The economic powerhouse of Israel can no longer funtion without hindrance, which will impede the military machinery. Another Cast Lead will only lead to slaugther, and yield nothing substantial. Israel's overreliance on military power will backfire on itself. Unluckily, its policies have demolished those Palestian parties with which a political solution could have been reached.
