No VAT, but still no value in Eilat

Despite the ideal weather in Eilat over the past two weeks, the streets there have been almost empty. Once Operation Pillar of Defense began, many tourists from abroad called off their trips, and Israeli tourists didn't exactly flock to the city either. But those that did go were mostly hanging around the Mul Hayam Mall.
