Stocks rose strongly Tuesday on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The major indexes opened in the green on optimism that a solution might be found for the fiscal and political standoff in the United States, and the TASE spent almost the entire day in positive territory, as gains in European markets sent the local market rising quickly in the morning.
