Israel's antitrust chief declares Tamar a monopoly in natural gas
While the decision is largely symbolic, officials in David Gilo's office said it constituted a 'warning signal.'
The partnership operating the Tamar gas field will be designated a monopoly when it starts producing gas, which should happen in March 2013, said Antitrust commissioner David Gilo on Tuesday.
