In a surprise rate cut, Bank of Israel acts to head off economic slowdown
Worried that the economy is slowing, the central bank lowered its benchmark rate to 1.75% and economic growth outlook to 2.8%.
Concerned that the economy is slowing, yesterday afternoon the Bank of Israel took advantage of the low-inflation environment to lower short-term interest rates for the second time in three months.
