Food reform still on agenda, official says
One official said the changes in policy would be expedited at least to the extent that they don't require changes to legislation.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plan to hold elections within the next three months is expected to put a number of major economic initiatives on hold. But when it comes to changes designed to lower retail food prices, senior government officials on Wednesday said efforts would be made to push them through in order to stem food-price increases in the run-up to the election.
