Although the cease-fire in Gaza went into effect on Wednesday evening, tourism industry observers say it could take a month or two, or even longer, for the tourist sector in the south to recover from the hostilities. Efforts are now under way to return the flow of tourists in the south to its level before this month's Operation Pillar of Defense in the Gaza Strip.
