Ilan Israely quits as CEO of Chip PC - after four months
Less than four months after taking over as the company's CEO, Ilan Israely has quit Chip PC.
Before that, Israely had quit as CEO of Walla! Communication (TASE: WALA) back in 2006. He later started at Chip PC, which is preparing for a public flotation of stock in Tel Aviv.
Chip PC is working on the development of a tiny desktop computer. It was founded in 2001 by the couple Ora and Aviv Soffer.
None of them will say why Israely upped and walked only four months into the job, especially just before a public offering. However, Israely evidently has an affection for Internet. In recent days he's been negotiating a job with the Tapuz portal, but the talks fell through.
