Bank of Israel split on outlook
Four members of the Bank of Israel's Monetary Committee voted at the October 29 meeting to cut the base rate by 0.25% to 2%, while two favored leaving it unchanged.
Divided over the direction of the economy, the Bank of Israel's Monetary Committee split its vote last month on whether to lower the base lending rate, according to minutes of the meeting released yesterday.
