The comment that the judging fromt he questioners, the debate might have been being held in a JCC is interesting. On MSNBC, Al Sharpton wondered at the near-absence of black faces in the crow and wondered too just how that audience had been picked. I doubt that he'll get an answer from Gallup, but the implied question is a good one.

Here in Canada, we have a Parliament that can often be rambunctious, but there is always some measure of public (and often private) respect between the Prime Minister and the Leader of Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition. The Oppositon's job, after all, in a robust democracy, is to oppose. As I observed the mutual hatred and plain nastiness of the Hofstra Debate,it reinforced my belief that the US political system is broken. Were I an American, I would be voting more against Teflon Romney than for Obama - maybe there is hope for the Green Party??

Leadership debates are the ultimate reality show in the travesty that politics has become. How you think on your feet and speak has very little to do with the ability to govern, or lack thereof.

The majority of the US media reports say it was a tie! Where is this Obama bruises Romney stuff coming from? Obama wishes he bruised Romney lol. Unfortunately, the two candidates for presidency this time around leave a lot to be desired :( When will the US have a real leader with true leadership qualities and abilities???

I don't know where you guys are getting your information from, but the majority of the media here in the U.S. say Romney won or it was a tie! obama came out more aggressive but his points were, for the most part, misleading or outright lies. Debate breakdown: obama won on style but Romney won on substance. Romney won on the economy, taxes and foreign policy. Fact Check will confirm obama lied on his energy policy and the Libya debacle!
