Israel's behaviour is childish and immature and underlines the call (for instance by Daniel Barenboim and many others) for a collective national treatment at a psychiatrist's couch. Peace is something one has to thrive for from the bottom of his/her brain and heart. You don't meed the assistance of a Daddy (USA), and if you think you need, then you are politically immature, infantile lacking authentical vision, unable to face reality or take responsibility. after 65 years of childhood and adolscence Israel still behaves like a baby. And when these immature Israelis have their own kids, they often kiss them when they are "good" and hit them when the kids don't yield to their parents' wishes. The same applies to politics. Go, look for a couch, folks!

Niether Obama nor Hilari done nothing to "cure" the problem at its root. It was nothing more but a "cheap bandaid in response to a severe disease" in the region. I dont think this peace will last even a year. The agreement is bogus. Ease control over Gaza? If they couldn't prevent smuggling by controlling the strip, what is it gonna be like after executing the agreement?

Why does Ha'aretz insist on calling this assault "Pillar of Defense", which this is not what it is called in Hebrew and is clearly a propaganda ploy by the Israeli government? Is it a real news paper, or an arm of Israel's Hasbarah?

Who cares if obama has credibility with Israelis? He is after all, our president, not yours.

Obama is doing the usual kowtowing. But the American public is different this time. Many more have now wised up to the Israeli policy of bombing Gaza or Lebanon every time there is an election coming up in Israel.Most Americans now realize that the real impediment to peace is Israel. As I was told by Israelis during my visit there, Israel has become a military with a state attached.

I would like to commend the Israeli people, and their government, for having the foresight to neutralize paramilitary threats on their western flank prior to potential operations against the regions' greater threat: Iran. To have allowed the build up of Iranian funded/supported militias on the country's flank would have been a grave mistake, and should operations against Iran be undertaken in the future, I'm sure the current action will pay its dividend, both in terms of lives and logistical considerations; that the insurgents on the West Bank gave you a pretext for such operations, only speaks to their intellect. In any event, I hope that things work out for all of the players in the region, peacefully, and that further escalation and conflict is not necessary. If not, you have still done, what I believe, is in the best interests of your nation, and that of many others that inhabit the region.

How can Obama who is busy using drones to murder Afghani civilians complain about israel,s war crimes. He could of course keep his mouth shut.

This conflict came right after the U.S. Presidential Election. There is definitely a Divine Plan at play. Iran, here we come.
