as an Iranian Jewish who is still in contact with various people in Iran i am of opinion of the fact that Iran is not a threat for Israel they want to secure themselves against Arabs which happens to be our enemy as well. they have been attached by Arabs for 1400 year. open your eyes, they are using us as an excuse to establish themselves. once established i believe they would have no problem in transitioning to a different mode with Israel. yes i would take around 10 maybe but than this would be an ally we can relay on unlike Turkey who's summit of national identity is very much Islamic. please think first, that used to be our strength as Jewish people, no longer that seems to be the practice in Israeli government and press. thank you

Excuse me for not being impressed, but what that sentence tells me is (a) the intel that the IAEA has relied upon is given to it by the CIA and Mossad, and (b) the only confirmation that the IAEA has on the accuracy of that intel comes from.... the CIA and Mossad.

I have read that it will take several attacks and I totally agree as I have written in several coments. The notion that this is a single strike oppertunity is simple minded, if needed Iran can be stopped by military means.

The simple truth, which Israelis doesn't seem to grasp, is as follows: NO, absolutely NO conventional measure can stop the nuclear program of Iran, not even an Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear facilities. The only measures, which would be able to stop that program, would be 1) complete thermonuclear destruction of the major Iranian cities or 2) a full blown military invasion of Iran, with subsequent regime change. But both of those latter measures would inevitably trigger WW3.
