Carlo Strenger is a philosopher and existential psychoanalyst, author of seven books, most recently The Fear of Insignificance: Searching for Meaning in the Twenty-First Centuryand Israel, Einführung in ein schwieriges Land He serves as Professor at the School of Psychological Sciences at Tel Aviv University; on the Permanent Monitoring Panel on Terrorism of the World Federation of Scientists; the Seminar of Existential Psychoanalysis in Zurich, and the Scientific Board of the Sigmund Freud Foundation, Vienna in addition to maintaining a part-time practice in existential psychoanalysis. Strenger is an outspoken defender of Classical Liberalism,and advocates a sane and just solution of the Israel-Palestine conflict.
