Israeli and world leaders must stop using the Holocaust for political goals
When the Holocaust is politicized, for whatever purpose or reason, our duty to remember is tainted by the machinations of petty political interest.

Hamas rally - AP - December 2011
This Passover, Jewish Liberals must liberate themselves from self-righteous utopianism
We must evaluate whether our commitment to a quick implementation of the two-state solution stands up to critical thought, and make a clear-headed assessment of reality, because freedom without clarity of thought is a chimera.

Ariel in the West Bank
Open Letter to Peter Beinart: Boycotting the settlements will not save the two-state solution
We need to look at the situation as it is now: no Israeli politician will be able to retreat to the 1967 lines as long as Hamas will not radically change its views, and this is not likely to happen soon.

A.B. Yehoshua
A 'Partial Jew’s' response to A.B Yehoshua
A human being can be many things. Why should that be different for Jews?

IAF Airstrike Gaza - AP - 10.3.12
Open Letter to Hamas: You are responsible for your people’s fate
Israelis, for very understandable reasons no longer care who is responsible for the violence. All they know is that, in the end, there will always be a Palestinian group that will initiate violence

Netanyahu’s dangerous Holocaust analogy

Estranged friends? A view on Israel from Western Europe

Megron outpost in West Bank - Fitoussi
Israel's severe right wing syndrome
Sharing problems with others doesn’t really provide too much reason for comfort, but it is quite interesting to see the analogies of the radicalization of the U.S. and Israel’s right.

Syria homs - AP - 30.1.2012
Israel, Syria, and the double standards of the Free World
While the Assad regime's massacre of Syrian civilians does not justify Israel's occupation of the West Bank, Israel's critics must acknowledge the rough neighborhood it lives in.

Beit Shemesh - Olivier Fitoussi - December 26, 2011
Israel's humanists should declare themselves a religious minority
Secular liberals are hated as the ruling elite, even though the right has been in power for the latter half of Israel’s history. Meanwhile, as opposed to religious-nationalists and the ultra-orthodox, we do not have any minority rights.
