Watching Hurricane Sandy from Israel: Our turn to worry

You are not concerned about us Americans, you are concerned about your future without us.

It's human nature to worry first and foremost about close family. Who would you expect them to phone or e-maily, complete strangers!

We American Jews (and non-Jews) care a ton about what happens in Israel. Even with different political viewpoints or out of concern for fellow Jews, important allies, and/or homeland, we care. So Ha'aretz shows the love in return by only reporting on Israelis who have immediate Israeli relatives living in particular areas in the US. Not even American relatives of Israelis, let alone Americans in general, Jewish and non-Jewish, who care so much about Israel. What a huge slap in the face by the most pretentious news outlet in the Middle East.
