Torn between two passports: Prisoner X and dual citizenship

There are many Australian / European / American Jews who make Aliyah, become bi nationals and still remain loyal to both of their nations. Not every Australian Jew abuses his Australian citizenship and passport and enters Mossad.

What is very serious is using someone's passport without his knowledge. On exiting Israel on one occasion, and presenting my Israeli passport at border controls, as is legal and compulsory, I was told 'you have another passport,haven't you?' I agreed I had, and was asked to show it. The woman controller then examined the passport, picked up the phone and had a short conversation with someone-all the time with my second passport out of sight, possibly being photographed. It was then handed back to me without comment. Some months later the scandal broke over the failed Mossad coup using second passports of Israeli citizens - a crime of which the owners of the passports were unaware. If I am ever asked again, I shall inform the controller that I am not bound by law to show any document but my Israeli passport or other Israeli documents, and refuse to hand my other passport over for inspection.

The chosen peopel have many times been accused of dual loyalties. whereas the chosen people have only a single chosen loyalty.

He is an individual & is responsible for his deeds. & not the entire nation. What nonsense is this ? Everyone is master of his own deeds.

Take it from an immigrant with personal knowledge, the US does not in fact take advantage of most "of those who have moved there with their language and their knowledge". Whether that is because the US is inept or for other reasons is more difficult to say. Getting entangled with the Mossad or the CIA is playing in the big leagues. If I had two husbands...would I, could I be 'faithful' to both? The same goes for dual citizenship: you can't be loyal to two countries. One or the other - your choice.

Every American-Israeli dual citizen is suspect and potentially impedes your ability to move freely to and from the United States.
