Kate and William’s December dilemma: One problem Jews don’t face

Surprise, surprise, William is Jewish ! His late grandfather, King George the fifth before he passed away did his geneolgy and discovered he is Jewish. This is a well known public fact.

Her maternal grandmother and her mother are Jews.

To compare a Christian holiday (that is nothing more or less than a retail celebration) to the holy days of oppurtunity in the Jewish calendar that afford us a chance to connect to G-d?! a clear and sad display of ignorance as to what the Jewish holidays are about.

People who are devout Christians definitely have more than one big holiday - um, Easter, for example? And many Jews actually don't actively celebrate anything other than Rosh Hashanah/Yom Kippur and Pessach. So the "dilemma" of whose family to go to is actually something that I think many people of every religion share, and which is simply more pronounced in some families than in others.

And why should I care were they go for there holiday as if they care were we Jews go for our holiday?
