It’s complicated: Zuckerberg, Chan and intermarriage among Jews

Are there no pretty Jewish young ladies who are doctors? If priscilla was not so extemely ugly and ugliest of all, it would have been ok. At least, she is not a Black American (The most hated and persecuted in America). Even if she was as extremely pretty and as successful as The Lovely BYANCE, all hell of racism would have been attackng HER for been a Black American Woman.

As a working guy I only hope that the likes of Zuckerbergs shall stay as far as possible from the jewish people.

Given that his wife is a walk to the attorney from being the richest divorcee in America, Zuckerberg should be commended for marrying his long time girl friend without burdening her with a pre-nuptial agreement. The fact that his parents are Jewish should be treated by the world with the same importance that Zuckerberg attributes to it. He wasn't raised to avoid intermarriage and I'm sure that to his mind the question is ridiculous. Wish them congratulations and leave it at that. Why spoil a beautiful thing with criticism.

Two Americans get married. In most of the world this is a news item because the man is fabulously wealthy. Only in Israel does anyone care about their racial origins.

I want my kids to have the same upbringing and 'sense of self' I have grown up with. Those who intermarry do so, as they have been failed by a lack of education which results in a lack of appreciation and self identification of being a Jew.

Because no one in America cares. In America interfaith marriage is a very common event.

I cry that religion is foolish. Religion has no morals. Religion is anger and hell and an intra-group ethic.

Many, many American's who happen to have Jewish parents, my self included, just don't care. We just don't find much if anything that would attract us to be active members of the Jewish community. We are repulsed by the religious aspects as many may be atheists and we are definitely turned off by Israel's continued lack of respect for basic human rights in the West bank and Gaza. So... what is there in this marriage that we should care about as far as the so called intermarriage aspects? As far as the couple is concerned there is no intermarriage, they are just two Americans who are getting married. It is the small, incestuous tribal communities that define it as inter marriage, not the broader cosmopolitan American community.
