The Obama administration's support of Israel's right to defend itself against Gaza rocket fire and its vote against the Palestinian bid for non-member observer status should have put to rest the claims about the U.S. president unleashing an anti-Israeli agenda after the elections.

Would a Hagel nomination really be a slap in Israel's face?
Israel supporters have come out against the possible nomination of former Sen. Chuck Hagel for the Secretary of Defense post – and this isn’t a first.
thank you

What's the well known (and oft-used) expression,? "Enough, already", comes to mind. The US government is NOT an overseas asset of the Israeli government, to use/misuse/manipulate/drop/abandon/criticize - but ALMOST NEVER thank - at will. This clear now?

I pay my taxes to have politicians mind my country and not the country of others. Who we elect or select is the business of the people of the United States of America. Not the business of the people of Israel. Got it?

Israel's citizens pay large sums to support the American political system. As with all other political groups, they expect a return on investment.

What has Obama done? Said he would use the American veto in the security council, voted against the Palestinians in the UNGA, helped to finance Israel's military needs including Iron Dome, done nothing to stop Israel expanding its illegal occupation. Maybe you think the US should have forced European states to also vote against the Palestinian initiative?
