It appears logical that according to Olympic philosophy Israel is a country without a capital and Jerusalem is a capital without a country

The Government of Israel is obviously in Israel. The governments of bifurcated, non-sovereign"Palestine" are in Ramallah and Gaza. These are FACTS.

Israel's government sits at Jerusalem, Palestine's government sits at Ramallah. Looking at this logically, only Israel should be able to claim Jerusalem as their capital. I don't really care where they put Palestine's capital, but there's no logical reason not to put Jerusalem as Israel's capital, if only as "West Jerusalem".

It makes sense. Jerusalem the capital of a no country and simultaneously the no capital of a country.Who in the world out of Israel itself recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel? What recognition has Palestine as country? Then, both nonsenses makes sense. Bravo for the BBC.
