roblem occured here between muslim and jewish people even in the most problematic days between Turkey and Israel. But your state policies are completely hated here and differently from the older generations, new generations and elite people are growing up and educating completely against, not to jews, but to Israel. even both countries were still good allies, erdogan would never support israel on its operations against hamas. he is trying to create an illusion especially on his own audience about him being the new leader of the middle east. his neo-ottomanist style has a strong effect on uneducated people especially with the needs of social and economic development. instead of offering them a real future with investments and developments he is giving them a menthal satisfaction by playing the new sultan. because he actually has nothing to offer. in this case israel is a great tool for him to create a strong rival on the board. unfortunately this style gets him the votes which is really tragic for my country and it's such a shame for middle east because israel and turkey would make perfect allies. even challenge EU maybe in future if they could also help stabilising other ME countries.

Well before the Flotilla incident the Turkish PM had already started to change the way he related to Israel. If he had been such a great friend why did he let it sail in the first place knowing who was on board and what was likely to happen? No Turkey made a decision to distance itself from Israel well before the flotilla and is just using each and every event as a new excuse to distance itself further.

Erdogan and his combo are a shame for Turkey, they are the opposite of what Ataturk wanted to achieve a modern, secular developed country, he must be revolving in his grave, what a pity, such a wonderful country with such a low life politician.

Reconcilliation with Israel does not go hand in hand with Turkey's aspiration to be the Regional power leading the Muslim world!! It's over!!

Please. Erdogan has made it very clear that he will never support Israel; he was pushing the terror flotilla in the first place. You'd have Netanyahu chasing him and begging for something he'd never get.

You cannot expect the Palestinians to sit back whilst their land is being stolen by the occupiers, Israel. The occupation is the core of the matter.
