MY OWN SPECULATION ABOUT OBAMA PLAN: >>> (A) -- Lift all sanctions on Iran and establish full diplomatic U.S.-Iran relationships simultaneously with UN-monitored full stop of weapon-grade uranium enrichment and of all external hostile acts and incitement >>>> (B) -- Simultaneously advancing and securing Israeli-U.S.-Palestinian multinational plan that includes sharing of old-Jerusalem Temple Mount, agreed-upon land swaps, gradual return of agreed-upon numbers Arab refugees to specific locations West of the Jordan River and proper compensation to others, permanent, Sinai-like, U.S.-only armed forces on the Jordan River, full support of the entire plan by Israel and by key friendly Arab states, >>>> (C) -- establishment of Palestinian State less missiles, tanks and fighter aircraft but with strong police-like, armed forces with capital in Rammala and free, lifted, 3D, bridge-type access to some Government Offices located next and North to/of the Temple Mount.

The house is powerless
- By Spyguy
- 07 Nov 2012
- 03:17PM
Obama holds all the power (per the US constitution) and the house can do nothing except issue press releases. this could go very bad for Israel. The republican house has boxed themselves in and all Obama has to do is "go to lunch" and the house will crap all over itself in panic. It is a whole new dynamic.

You must not have the faintest idea of the three branches of government, Executive (President), Legislative (Congress) and Judicial (Supreme Court). Bills go from the House to the Senate and are signed into law by the President. Of course there are steps in between, committees, markups, votes, etc. but the Office of the President is not omnipotent. Even a Presidential Veto can be overridden.

Netanyahu will feed his resentment for Obama and continue to hinder peace being made with the Palestinians. His governments announcement of more houses being built in settlements and the threat of an open season on settlements says Netanyahu is still in the mood for staying offside with not only America but the World. Everyone is very, very tired of Israel and its arrogance and provocations.

Not in my "neighborhood! Mr. Netanyahu IS the hero! Israel is the center of my attention, as well of most of my friends. Of course we are half-way around the world! Maybe we have a clearer perspective then your views. We support Mr. Netanyahu, fully. His character, leadership, and person, represent leadership in the highest order. Anyone who loves Israel can appreciate this. But your perspective, sounds like you would like to cripple Israel, and make her very vulnerable to her enemies. In fact, it sounds like you hate her. Try to support the blessed land you live in...be grateful for the government you live under, instead of attempting to overwhelm Israel with Palestinians. If you can't do that, then perhaps you might consider moving somewhere else. Damascus? Iran? Egypt? After all your views seem to be more compatible to any of these options.

Occupied territory is not Israel. Israel has no legal sovereignty over Occupied territory and never will. All the world requires is for Israel to respect International Law and its obligations under the UN. If you respect Israel you would want it to be viewed as an honest nation. Not a dishonest one. The World does not revolve around Israel.
