Israeli leaders should be well aware by now of the importance of being proficient in English.
On Tuesday afternoon, Labor Party chairman Shelly Yacimovich spoke at the Mount Zion Hotel in Jerusalem at the Jewish People Policy Institute’s annual conference. For a quarter of an hour, Yacimovich presented her socioeconomic doctrine. Nothing was new in the content of her speech, but one thing was very different: she spoke in English.
